  • Body. hanging, long;
  • Shoots slender, 7-ribbed, to 5 mm diam. very finely grooved, greyish-green, light-pitted, single ones to 25 cm long, then in whorls or one above the other, sometimes branching very freely;
  • Areoles. with yellowish felt;
  • Flowers. solitary, small, yellowish-white;
  • Fruit. red, spherical, 5 mm diam, with floral remains.
  • Habitat -N. Peru (Jaen).
